Time Like These ... If I Forget
Judy Ann Jones

Time Like These ... If I ForgetJudy Jones is a retired award-winning newspaper journalist, who lives in Southern California. She not only worked on civilian weekly and daily newspapers, but was managing editor of the Camp Pendleton Scout for eight years. She wasn’t a Marine, but the Marines she worked with did and, still do, treat her like part of their family. Concurrent with her journalism career, she served for 20 years as a reserve deputy sheriff with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department both as a Search and Rescue Division deputy and a Law Enforcement Division deputy. Leaving journalism to care for her mother, she eventually went to work for the City of El Cajon Police Department then moved to the City of Corona Building Department. Forced into early retirement by the economy, she has since taken seasonal jobs in Yellowstone and Olympic and National Parks in various positions. While working for park concessionaires, she volunteers for the National Park Service. Prior to this book, she wrote Times Like These Vol. 1 … Christmas, a memoir of Christmas joy, laughter and tears in the Jones family. If I Forget, A Caregiver’s Memories started as the second in this series of books about post WWII family life, but has turned into so much more.
