The Time Trading Guru
Robert Renaud

The Time Trading GuruThanks for dropping by. I’m Robert Renaud and it looks like you’ve come across the virtual home of The Time Trading Guru. Please visit www.timetradingguru,com for my blog. I write, work like you, and help people become time traders all over the world. If you’re searching for something that’s missing in your life, whether it’s a more engaging job, a meaningful relationship, or a personal quest, I’d like to welcome you to the life of a time trader. I’ll share with you how you can use the levers of life to take life breaks and how you can leverage the DREAM process to attain your goals and reach your potentiality. What is This About? The Time Trading Guru is about getting more out of life and opens the door to how you can embrace the time trading principles of time, flexibility, and money to trade that ‘work’ and wasted time into ‘value’ time by leveraging life breaks. I lay out the time trading formula giving you a blueprint to living life more fully. Through my writing, I will share with you how to use the levers of life: time, flexibility, and money to escape the workplace, take ‘life breaks‘ and start living again. Once a week I write on at least one of these levers while also showing you how to use the DREAM process to set and realize goals so you can reach your potentiality. You can follow along by RRS feeds, email updates, or by just regularly connecting to this site for the lastest time trading muse. If there is one thing I offer it is a new perspective on personal development, how you can reframe your current normal, how you can set and attain realistic goals, and how you can take real time to live today. Isn’t that what we all want. To be happy, to stop waiting for the future to do what we really crave to do now? Take a glance through the posts, check them out for a while; you might find something your looking for. Or maybe not, and that’s okay. Life is a journey and we don’t always find what we are looking for at first glance, but it may lead you to a path you never thought of taking before. All of the writings on The Time Trading Guru is presented free of advertising. If you want to support the project, join the time traders. My Philosophy is Quite Simple: You don’t have to give every fiber of your life to work. Find what’s important in your life and make that the central theme. There’s no such thing as failure, only an admission that you didn’t get the intended results. Rise above yourself and be more than you are today to become something better tomorrow Why do I Think This Way? The American dream is something that I aspired for since I was a kid, but as I got older my perception of the dream matured. I was fortunate to have grown up with strong middle-class values despite a dysfunctional family structure and working poor family paycheck. To live life better, I realized that I needed to change my perception and to simplify my life. I’ve taken a long life break in Ecuador for 2 years, leveraged work trips to travel throughout North America, and I even did the university thing, getting an undergraduate degree, then an MBA. Fortunately, my employer paid the $20,000 plus, over 3 years, then incredibly let me walk away. I’ve seen poverty, I’ve lived poor, I’ve experienced richness, and in all, I learned a little bit about life along the way; particularly the need to live today by taking life breaks and time trading. I hope you join me as this project moves forward because there is a lot I have to share.
