Brooklyn Sawyer

HelloI am a mother, grandmother and wife, who loves to read as much as I do writing. I started writing when I was 10 as a form of therapy, after loosing my father. It was a pretty traumatic experience to pretty much. In 2009, I found myself in a battle for my own life, against cancer. I was told it was a very slim chance that I would beat it, but I fought on anyway and guess what? I beat the odds, I am almost 4 years cancer free. Going through that experience did change me. It changed the way I see things and react to them. With a little help from a family member, I took a big step and published one of my books, something I wouldn't have been able to do before. I didn't take very many chances before, and I was to afraid of rejection to put anything out there. Since, I have published a second book and I am working on writing the third in the series, right now. As far as what my blogs will be, I guess they could be a mixture of many things. Information about my books, what I am thinking or feeling about certain things, my family, who knows what else. =)
